Overview
ON-Time ("we", "us", or "the app") reads your Google Calendar, checks driving
traffic to your upcoming meetings, and tells you when to leave — including an
optional daily summary by email and Telegram. This policy explains what
information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Google account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and your unique Google account ID. Your Google ID is used as your account identifier.
- Google Calendar data — with your permission, we read your upcoming events (title, time, and location) to calculate travel times, and we can add events you create in the app to your calendar.
- Home address — the starting address you enter, used to calculate how long it takes to reach your meetings.
- Preferences — your daily notification time, how many days ahead to look, your time zone, and which notification channels (email and/or Telegram) you enable.
- Telegram chat identifier — if you choose to connect Telegram, we store the chat ID needed to send you messages there.
How we use your information
- To read your calendar and compute traffic-aware "leave by" times for your meetings.
- To send you your daily plan by email and/or Telegram, at the time you choose.
- To add meetings to your Google Calendar when you create them in the app.
- To operate, secure, and maintain the service.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data — Limited Use
ON-Time's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy,
including its Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we only use
Google Calendar data to provide and improve the app's user-facing features; we do
not transfer or sell this data; we do not use it for advertising; and no humans read
your Google data except where necessary for security, to comply with the law, or with
your explicit consent.
Third-party services
To provide the service, your data may be processed by:
- Google — Sign-In, Calendar API, and Maps/Routes (to estimate drive times).
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosting and database (in the EU / Frankfurt region), and email delivery (SES).
- Telegram — only if you connect it, to deliver your messages.
Storage and security
Your data is stored in AWS (Frankfurt, EU). It is encrypted in transit
(HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Your Google access credentials are kept only
on our servers and are never shared with the app on your device or with any third party,
except Google itself to access your calendar as described above.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can:
- Sign out in the app to stop notifications and revoke your session.
- Revoke ON-Time's access to your Google account at any time at
myaccount.google.com/connections.
- Request deletion of your account data by contacting us (below); we will delete your stored data.
Children
ON-Time is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
